Before I got a mini bottle of Wild Child, I never dreamed there was a product that could help my hair in so many ways. My formerly lifeless, oily hair looks healthier, has more body, and feels cleaner. I rub a little into my hair before every shampoo and leave it in for a few minutes. Once a week I leave it in for 20-30 minutes. Like so many of their products, this one also has an intoxicating earthy scent that is addicting.
Instant happy for your hair!
I almost never leave online reviews, but I was so stunned by this product that I had to. I just received my bottle of Wild Child and cannot believe what a difference it has made in my hair with just one use!
My hair is what I call thick-yet-fine (as in, the texture is fine, but I've got a lot of it so it seems thicker than it actually is). It's prone to dryness and breakage, especially because I live in high altitude. I've tried other pre-shampoo conditioning treatments before, ranging from the homemade to the outrageously expensive variety, and I've always been left with super greasy and oily hair for days afterward. Even using massive handfuls of shampoo, I am a greaseball (and besides, is it not counterproductive to use a product that's supposed to make your hair healthier and more nourished if you will then need to strip it to death with gobs of shampoo?). I was afraid that this would yield similar results, but honestly, I really like the name and the packaging and I figured that if nothing else it would probably smell good. I gave it a shot. So glad I did!
After one use, my hair is softer and healthier looking than it's been in years! I used about five squirts of oil on my almost-shoulder-length hair, left it in a turban for 30 minutes, then washed with a normal amount of shampoo (maybe slightly more than usual, but that's just because I'm normally quite stingy with shampoo, I used what is probably a normal amount for most people). I did not use any conditioner afterward. It did make my hair smell nice, although to be honest I kind of forgot about it after I got out of the shower. It wasn't until later that night when my hair was dry that I suddenly thought 'Damn! My hair feels amazing!' and remembered. Cut to: me writing this glowing review.
