Soothing Night-time Foot Treatment and Massage

Dry, cracked feet; nobody wants them, but all too often they are what we've got. No more! Today we are sharing a gorgeously soothing and hydrating foot treatment that will have you sleeping like a baby... with feet as soft as a baby's.

Before bed, soak your feet for 10-15 minutes. You can do this in the tub, sink, or large bowl. Add a few drops of luscious body oil for bonus hydration and softening. Remove your feet and towel dry.

Now for the soothing massage that incorporates a little reflexology for a restful night. Put about 1 teaspoon of Anointed Body Butter in your hands and rub them together to soften and warm the butter. Starting at the toes, place your hands on either side of your foot and gently massage Anointed into your skin. Take care to get in between your toes and pay special attention to dry, rough spots.

Rest your ankle on your thigh so you have access to the sole of your foot. Press your thumbs into the ball of your foot. This area is associated with your chest and massaging it will help soothe and deepen your breath. Take a moment now to breathe deeply; once you have inhaled what feels like all the way, take one more breath in, to fully expand your lungs. Exhale. Repeat this breath as desired. Once your are satisfied with your massage and breathing ritual, repeat on the other foot.

You can add a little more Anointed if that feels good to you. Place soft, cozy socks on your feet to trap the moisture overnight. In the morning you will wake refreshed and so will your feet.
